Ro-ball Co-operation V1.0 (JAM)

to my first ever game in Itch.io. This is a game for the GMTK Game Jam however my game engine denied to be a good fella and let me export my game properly for my OS so I had to export it as a Linux executable which I have no idea if it works or not. I may have to link to a new file, which will get me disqualified, but it's better than having no game, right.

Anyways moving on Ro-Ball is a single player platformer game where you have a helpful companion in a shape of a Robot Basketball, hence the name of the game, this companion has the special ability to allow you to switch with it and control it's claw that can help you to over come the many levels in the laboratory. The game is based on the fact that you and your companion have limited movement that perfectly oppose each other, an example of this is the fact that you can't jump but your roball can be thrown and use it claw to pull you with giving you the ability to jump but not as straight-forward or easy as usual.

Because this is my first game there are only 4 levels but I plan on changing that in future versions after game as well as polishing the game more until I feel happy with it or another year has passed and I get the motivation to start a new game for the next GMTK Game Jam because I decided as a beginner game dev to make a game in less than a week, that was a great decision wasn't it. All jokes aside this is my first game so I'd love some feedback especially on the game-play loop and level scaling/difficulty as I know that my menu is last minute and ... bad; you'll see what I mean.

Player:

Movement - "A" & "D" / "LEFT" & "RIGHT" Keyboard-keys
Throw-ball - Mouse Button R
Aim-ball - Mouse 

Ro-Ball:

Claw - Mouse Button R
Switch - "SPACE" Keyboard-key
